Outdoor Education Curriculum Cover

Take your students outdoors with a field-tested nature immersion program

Looking to connect your students with nature, but aren’t sure what to do with them?

This full year curriculum contains 20 nature-based lesson plans following forest school and outdoor education models. It is inspired by Jon Young’s Coyote Mentoring and the natural cycle of learning.

These 20 lessons – complete with materials lists, templates and scripts –  equip teachers, mentors, and caregivers with everything they need to teach outside

Students will learn skills and strategies such as mapping, birding, mindfulness, awareness, animal tracking, journaling, and curiosity.

The lessons are intended to be taught once per week. Each lesson is designed to last 1-3 hours and follows the natural cycle routine. Adaptations and extenstions are provided in each lesson.

A simple, year-long set of lesson plans that can be adapted for any school setting.

The lessons can be completed on a school yard, in a park, or in any green space you can find. No forests necessary!

These lessons can be adapted for elementary any age, grade, and school-setting, including homeschooling!
